Photographic Light Meter App for Android

A collaboration with a UK based developer, the Photographic Light Meter application for Android is a tool for photographers looking to lighten their gear load.

When launched, the user points the front of their mobile phone toward the subject and takes a light reading measurement using the volume rocker or trackball, and on-board sensors. Correct exposures are shown on the scrollable slider graphic for all applicable f-stops. Users may also opt to use aperture or shutter speed priorities by hitting the lock icon after they have selected their desired setting on the slider, and the application will calculate the correct exposure for the locked setting.
